Refund Policy

At McAnderson Associates Ltd, we offer both Instructor-Led (One-on-One) and Self-Paced BCS training programmes. This policy applies to all course formats.

By enrolling in any of our courses, you agree to the terms below.

1. General No-Refund Policy

All payments made for BCS courses are non-refundable. This applies to both Instructor-Led and Self-Paced programmes, including:

  • Change of mind after payment
  • Inability to attend or complete the course
  • Personal or professional scheduling conflicts
2. 24-Hour Grace Period (Limited Exception)

A 24-hour refund window is available only if ALL conditions below are met:

  • Request is made within 24 hours of payment
  • The course has not started
  • No access has been made to course materials or learning platform
  • For Instructor-Led courses: no session has been scheduled or held
3. Self-Paced Courses (Access-Based Policy)
  • Once access to course materials or the learning platform has been granted and accessed, no refunds will be issued
  • Access is considered “used” once login details have been utilized
4. Instructor-Led (One-on-One) Courses
  • Sessions are scheduled and time is reserved specifically for each learner
  • Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable and non-reschedulable

Rescheduling Policy:

  • At least 24–48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session
  • Rescheduling is subject to instructor availability
5. Deferral / Transfer Option

As an alternative to refunds, learners may request to defer to a future cohort, subject to:

  • Request made at least 5–7 days before course start date
  • Valid for one-time use only
  • Subject to availability and approval
6. Course Cancellation by McAnderson

If a course is cancelled or rescheduled by McAnderson Associates Ltd, you will be offered:

  • A transfer to another cohort, or
  • A full refund (only in this case)

Processing Fees: In any case where a refund is permitted, the refunded amount will be minus any payment processing fees charged by the payment gateway (e.g., WooPayments). These fees are non-refundable and retained to cover transaction costs.

7. Examination Fees

All BCS exam fees, vouchers, or registrations are non-refundable once processed.

8. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend (Instructor-Led) or access (Self-Paced) does not qualify for a refund, transfer, or exception outside this policy.

9. Agreement to Terms

By making a payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.
